To reimagine YO!’s traditional belt format and dining experience.
What we did
YO! and their iconic Kaiten belt were inseparable. But eating at the belt often meant sitting side-by-side, not face-to-face. Our redesign created a more sociable experience, while keeping the belt at the centre of the experience. The aesthetic references a more authentic Japan, less ‘crazy Tokyo’. And by creating a separate ‘To Go’ space we allowed them to better define the grab & go side of their business.
